Are you aware that wrestling is mostly a show intentionally designed to impress the audience.   Are you aware that American politics is the political equivalent of wrestling.   Politics is a show designed to give the impression that America is a free country run by politicians who answer to the will of the people.  

In reality, the United States is run by those who control the financial, the insurance, and the oil/coal/natural gas industries.   We call these people The Powers That Be.   This term refers to the super-wealthy men who behind the scenes control the corporations that spend the money to elect the politicians who write the laws that control anything of any significance in the United States, England, and Europe.   Almost everything is "Smoke and Mirrors."   Here are some examples:

Free Market:   The Powers That Be peddle the illusion that the financial world is based upon a "Free market" that supposedly controls the economy and product prices.   In reality, there are literally thousands of laws, rules, and regulation all designed and put into place by The Powers That Be.   These laws, rules, et cetera, are used to direct the "lion's share" of everything to the men who control and manipulate the world's political and economic systems.   This leaves us free to do anything we choose, as long a we follow the rules.

The Federal Reserve:   Another grand illusion is The Federal Reserve.   The Federal Reserve is the longest lasting, most profitable financial scam in all of American History.  It's the present-day financial equivalent of the Midlevel Catholic Church's practice of Selling Indulgences.  Both produced huge incomes by charging customers for something that was/is pure fiction. 

Please don't believe any of this.   Don't disbelieve it either.   Take a few minutes and examine the evidence and then return to this page.   If you took the time to follow the links above, welcome back.  Now that we've set the stage, let's see how  The Powers That Be  have orchestrated the health insurance crisis.  

The first thing you need to understand is that the Insurance industry is a huge multi-billion-dollar cash cow for the super-wealthy.  

The second fact is that, according to a report on PBS Frontline, the basic, end result results of Obama's health insurance bill was a foregone conclusion before and the public hoopla started  -- no single payer system  and  no public option.

Third, the Insurance industry spent literally billions of dollars (that's billions with a "B") in their effort to keep the government from regulating their industry.   (Billions to them is "chicken feed."  It's the equivalent of the average American spending enough money to take the family our to a restaurant for dinner.)  

Fourth, the latest health insurance bill that was signed into law in March 2010, is another huge win for the insurance industry.   The Regulations are minimal and have built in loopholes.   The law gives no public option.  It has no single payer system, and it forces people to buy insurance from the existing insurance industry.   

Now that we see what isn't working, let's examine something that will work.
